What types of digital marketing tools should you be using in your coaching business to make it work for you? Below I discuss some of the tools that have been such a time saver for me and may potentially help coaches organise their businesses so they can focus on what they do best – Help others to reach their goals in their respected areas.
List building and automation software can save so much time when it comes to gaining and maintaining leads in your business. This is the software that usually starts the lead generation funnel process. Now there are programs like ClickFunnels and LeadPages that do the whole process but you have to integrate your list building software into them to build your list. This is an essential item to have in your digital marketing toolbox.
In a world where people tend to live on their phones, having a texting system would be a great way to communicate with your clients and leads. It is convenient for people to join your email lists and sign up for your programs and/or workshops. It is also a great way to send out your messages while presenting and livestreaming to connect with the audience. This is a great example of a tool that meets our audience where they are all the time – their phones – so it is a great time-saver and no-brainer to have in your digital marketing toolbox.
Opt-ins and graphics are so important for your brand and it’s important to be able to create them as needed. Having a tool that creates not only graphics but forms, ebooks, worksheets etc. will save you a lot of time, and a great way to create a library of these items when you need to send, share and promote on the fly. Plus you can have your hex codes, px sizes, logos at your fingertips via computer and mobile device if you use a program that has an app. Being efficient is key when it comes to building landing pages, evergreen webinars, websites and much more. This is a must for your digital marketing toolbox.
There are many podcasts out there. The difference in whether yours is successful or not is your promotion. Are you on the right platforms and do the right people know about it? So the next question is how do you become that unique and stand-out podcast? The answer to be real and true to the essence of your podcast and brand. So how do you do that? Comb through your podcasts to find the most engaging clips and turn them into promotional videos and audiograms. This will let you create the narrative you want people to get from the podcast as a whole. Why should they listen to what you and your guests have to say? Then make the promos evergreen by mixing up the new episodes with the old ones with the same feel to give your listeners options while keeping the listens or views coming.
Livestreams are a great way to connect with your audience and build credibility. They are also great to repurpose. After you do a livestream, it can become so many different things. If you transcribe it, it can become a blog, a script, a book, a lesson plan. If you keep it in video form, it can become promos, course content, evergreen webinars and so much more. Then you can share it on your various platforms to attract different audiences on each one. You can do this yourself or you can get software to do it for you. The opportunities are endless with this tool!
All of these have serviced many coaches whether they build it themselves or had a team to do it for them. Do you have these types of tools in your digital marketing toolbox? You can start small and build them up, but when you get your toolbox fully stocked, you will see a difference because you will be able to cater to your audience’s needs in a way that they find appealing and necessary to stop and click for more information. Many coaches just need the opportunity to shine so use the items in your digital marketing toolbox to create the opportunity for yourself today!
